Hi. I’m Allen Richa’rd and that's my best friend, Nikki.
I’ve been an entrepreneur for as long as I can remember. I grew up very poor and when I discovered I could actually make money doing the simplest things…I was Bitten, by the “Make Money Bug.”
My Make Money Timeline
At 10 years old, I discovered I could ride my bicycle up and down the street, and pick up returnable bottles. Dang…in just a few minutes, I had enough candy money to keep me on a sugar high all day!
At 11, I learned I could cut grass with my parents push mover and get PAID!
At 12, I was working full time in a grocery store for $1.75 an hour and continued working there until after I graduated high school.
I grew up, dated, got married and realized I needed a real job.
At 20, I join the Marine Corps.
While in the Corps, I bought an old Ice Cream Truck, dressed up as a clown on my time off and entertained kids in the nearby neighborhoods. After serving my country for 6 years, I got out to pursue my dream.
At 28, I bought a closed down convenient store and made a fortune!
That was the best job I ever had…but it was a JOB!
The Internet Changed My Life
In 2006, I began learning about working online and while it was not an easy start... after I figured it out, I haven’t looked back.
I’ve made a lot of money online, but I’ve lost a lot of money as well from some stupid mistakes. Don’t be stupid, learn from my stupid mistakes. Lol
Three Things for Success
I firmly believe you can do anything you set your mind to do.
In my opinion you need three things to be successful for ANYTHING!
***Consistency, Balance, and a Teachable Spirit!***
I’ve done a lot of things in the past and I have a lot of experience…but writing on Medium is a new adventure for me.
I’ve always enjoyed writing but English was my worst subject in school. I barley passed English, but discovered I didn’t need to be perfect, I just needed to learn the best way to communicate.
I eventually wrote a book and self published it on Amazon…but I will not brag and say I’m a “Best Selling Author. It barely sold, but what is more important is, “What I learned from the process of writing and publishing that book online.”
Follow me here on Medium and I hope we can learn a lot and help each other!
I’m excited to share my knowledge and experience and I look forward to hearing about what you are doing!
